Eligibility Process

Eligibility Process

RTS Access uses an in-person eligibility process. With this process, all customers must complete a paper application and call us for an appointment unless the request is for temporary or visitor status.

ANY APPLICATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN MAILED TO US BEFORE YOU ATTEND YOUR IN-PERSON APPOINTMENT WILL BE RETURNED.

After your in-person appointment is complete, if the paper application is found to be incomplete or we need additional information for the eligibility evaluation process, the entire application will be returned to you with instructions. You will not need to return for a second appointment, you may mail the completed application back to us. This is the only time we will accept an application by mail.

Eligibility and COVID Travel Restrictions

If your eligibility is due and you are restricted from travel due to where you live, keep your application and as soon as your travel restrictions have been lifted, complete your application and call us for an appointment.

We understand that your eligibility for RTS Access may expire. Once your travel restrictions have been lifted, call us for your in-person appointment and we will grant temporary eligibility until we have met and reviewed your package. If you do not attend your appointment, your temporary eligibility will expire, and you will need to reschedule your appointment with us.
