RTS Seneca Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary, Recognizes Staff Excellence

RTS Seneca met for their annual dinner last night, celebrating 10 years of excellent service to the Seneca County area. RTS CEO Bill Carpenter was joined by RGRTA Commissioner Ed White, RTS’ Director of Regional Operations Mike DeRaddo, and RTS Seneca & Ontario Regional Manager Mary Mansfield to review the year’s activity and recognize employees for exceptional service. The dinner took place at Ciccino’s in Waterloo, NY.

Carpenter said “This marks ten exceptional years of service to nearly 90,000 customers in Seneca County. Over the past year, ridership has grown over nine percent and customer service satisfaction is at 98 percent. With bus maintenance improvements and new service partnerships RTS Seneca is establishing itself as one of the top regional subsidiaries in our system. Thank you to all the RTS Seneca employees for making these outstanding achievements possible.”

In July, Cher McCutcheon was promoted to Manager of Operations after working for two years as a Transportation Specialist for RTS Seneca. Under McCutcheon’s direction, RTS Seneca has seen an on-time performance of 98 percent as of October 2014.

Employees singled out for Safe Driving and Perfect Attendance Awards include:

·         Shelley Capacci* (Bus Operator)

·         Stephen D’Eredita* (Bus Operator)

·         Paul Iannopollo, Jr. (Transportation Specialist) (Perfect Attendance)

·         Pamela Olp (Bus Operator)

·         Hollis Popp (Bus Operator)

·         Gordon Trickler (Bus Operator)

*also received awards for ‘perfect attendance.’
