Rochester, NY: Regional Transit Service (RTS) is thanking its customers for achieving the milestone of serving 10 million people at RTS Transit Center. The 10 million customer mark was reached on Sunday, November 1, 2015, less than one year since the opening of the facility on November 28, 2014.
“On behalf of everyone at RTS, I thank our customers and business partners for allowing us to serve 10 million people so far this year at the RTS Transit Center,” said Bill Carpenter, CEO of RTS. “We had a vision of the Transit Center being a facility that would transform how the community uses bus transportation, and thanks to our customers we have been successful in bringing that vision to life.”
Carpenter added, “In addition to the support from our customers, this milestone would not have been achieved were it not for the 900+ RTS employees who work tirelessly to serve and connect the community by providing safe, reliable and convenient public transportation.”
