Visit The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum on July 20 to see RTS' restored vintage bus!
This is a General Motors “Old Look” TDH 4012 bus; buses of this make and model were in service in the Rochester area until 1976.
This specific bus is believed to have originally provided service in Jacksonville, FL before being sent to Charlotte, NC. It was later sold to Gordon Bus Service and provided service outside of Augusta, GA until 1985.
The bus was obtained by RTS in 2000, where was restored to a museum-like quality. Many thanks to the Maintenance Employees at RTS for their hard work and dedication to restoring and maintaining this piece of transportation history.
