Regional Transit Service (RTS) today announced new service and schedule changes that will go into effect on Monday, January 2, 2017. To make it easier for customers to understand that “limited” stop service routes provide faster service with fewer stops to some of Rochester’s more popular destinations, RTS is renaming them the ROC-it Routes. These routes will have their own paper schedules which will be available later this month at the RTS Transit Center. The following table identifies how the ROC-it Routes are currently identified and how they will be known starting on January 2, 2017.

Additionally, the existing routes that will see improvements are the 9 Jay/Maple, the 10 Dewey, and the 16 Crosstown. The improvements for these routes will include:
